In recent years the various space probes and astronomical observatories have revealed unequivocal evidence of catastrophic forces throughout the solar system including colossal electrical scarring on the respective planets and their satellites, cometary impacts on planetary bodies, the fall of Martian meteorites to Earth, and the ubiquitous effects of plasma. Like a Tsunami looming over the horizon, this wave of new scientific findings threatens to overturn everything you thought you knew about the history of the Earth and its place in the solar system. And, as is often the case with scientific revolutions, mainstream astronomers don't even see it coming.

For the past two decades I have been involved in the development of a unified theory of myth and science—the so-called Saturn theory (for a brief overview, click on the link above). The Saturn theory offers a radical reconstruction of the recent history of the solar system, our principal claim being that the neighboring planets participated in spectacular cataclysms well within the memory of man. The burgeoning research in this field inspired the journal Aeon, for which I serve as publisher and co-editor (together with Dwardu Cardona). The present web site offers a generous sampling of previously published articles as well as the latest findings from ongoing researches. Included are articles on a variety of subjects, from the origins of ancient myth and religion to archaeoastronomy and evolutionary theory. Also included are several chapters from the recently published Martian Metamorphoses: The Planet Mars in Ancient Myth and Religion and the companion volume The Many Faces of Venus:The Planet Venus in Ancient Myth and Religion.
